OUR COVID-19 IN STUDIO GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES

Please read this entire page and follow our COVID-19 guidelines and student procedures.

Masks are strongly recommended. We ask that everyone be respectful of the choices each family makes regarding masks. Our studio will be a place for everyone to feel comfortable whether they wear a mask or not.

All studio rooms are disinfected between each class.

Please note our waiting area/lobby will remain closed.

A note from the EOD Staff:

“We love your enthusiasm and the way you support your children. We hope to have two times throughout the season where we will invite you in to the classroom to observe your child’s class.  However, just like Pre-school or Kindergarten, parents are asked to drop and go to avoid distraction to the learning process. If your child needs assistance, please come in, as we want everyone to feel comfortable with this new transition, coming to the studio and dancing with us.”

As we start our new season, here are some of our updated protocols (subject to change):

  • Dancers will wait outside until a teacher calls them in for class.
  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your class.
  • Wearing masks is optional at this time, but highly recommended
  • Students will be asked to sanitize upon entry
  • Parents will drop off/pick up at the front door for classes scheduled in Studio 1, 3 & 4. For classes scheduled in Studio 2, parents will drop off/pick up at the back door.
  • Our waiting room/lobby is closed. However, it will be open to parents of students under the age of 5 who only need assistance going in to class.
  • All other parents with any questions/payment/registration/merchandise needs while classes are in session- please contact Miss Tanya or Nicole to set up an appointment.
  • We ask that students bring their own water bottles to class.
  • We ask that if your child is not feeling well or is experiencing any symptoms, to keep them home and contact us to let us know.
  • We will continue to monitor our mask and COVID safety practices and as always families will be informed of any changes.

Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up

  • Please drive slowly and cautiously through the parking lot area.
  • Park in a parking spot and walk your child to the door.
  • Arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to class time.
  • Students must line up outside of the entrance.
  • Studio 2 Classes must enter/exit through the back door.
  • Parents should not leave their child unattended if there is a long break between their classes.
  • Students are not permitted to walk to and from the front of the building to the back, and vice versa, if they have a break from one class to the next.
  • Students will be escorted to their classroom.
  • Students are not permitted to wait outside of the building.
  • Please be on time in dropping off & picking up your child.

Dancers will not change clothes for different genres of class. If you have ballet you will need to wear your ballet attire and then put on other dance wear over for other classes such as hip hop or jazz. Please only bring your dance shoes in a small bag and a water bottle with a lid/name on it. A water cooler is NOT available at this time. If you have multiple classes, you will need to be picked up and return 5 minutes prior to your next class.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING & SUPPORT THROUGH THESE NEW CHANGES. WE ARE COMMITTED TO FIND A WAY AND WILL CONTINUE TO DANCE & TUMBLE SAFELY!

If your child or a family is exposed to COVID-19 – please contact mstanya@ptd.net to let us know. Protocols keep changing, so it is important to stay in contact with us to make the right decision for all.
